  1. Jenkins describes the different faces of Malcolm X in this panel as “attitudes.”[i]  What different attitudes do you recognize in each of the facial expressions.

  2. Similar to The Leader, the heads toward the right hand side of the mural are facing the future.  What other themes might the two panels share? In what ways are they distinctly different?
